If you’re interested in a summer job, the following is information from Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for an opportunity for you to get a job…

My name is Libby Furman and I am the Youth Tree Team Manager at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. I wanted to let you know that we are now accepting applications for our 2019 Summer Crew!

The Youth Tree Team (YTT) hires young people that are interested in working outside to maintain trees planted all around Indianapolis. This is a paid position ($9/hour, 20 hours/week) that lasts for seven weeks in the summer. YTT waters and mulches trees three days a week and dedicates one day to enrichment activities focusing on financial literacy, sustainability, and tree identification. All youth are also given two evaluations during the summer to highlight soft and hard job skill improvements. If the youth is in good standing with YTT, there is an opportunity to continue working in the Fall and Spring and no need to reapply for the next Summer as their spot is saved.

I have attached the formal job description with all of the details to this email. Please pass this along to any high schoolers that may be interested in the Youth Tree Team! Applications are due by April 3, 2019 at 5PM and working interviews begin in early April!

Links to the online application can be found in the attached PDF or by clicking here 2019 YTT Application.

Thank you for your support!
