Field Day at o-week was a total knockout! From fun games to challenging crafts, all of the blue devils walked away relaxed and eager to start class.

However, off in the distance, a storm cloud in the shape of a basketball loomed. Mr. Gawdzik grew up in the dunking, three-point draining shadow of his father. Preferring to play soccer and video games, Mr. Gawdzik never learned the motor skills necessary to avoid a basketball bludgeoning. The menacing smell of fresh rubber and leather swirled in like a ghost around Mr. Gawdzik and the unnamed Junior. Driving the scholar to madness, he drove to the lane, but Mr. Gawdzik, being totally inept, decided to use his nose to stop the onslaught…a terrible decision.

First responder Ms. Smith deemed Mr. Gawdzik unable to drive and drove him to the clinic to get x-rayed and cleaned up.

Upon returning to the park, Mr. Gawdzik was met with hundreds of scholars telling him, “wow, you’ve never looked better!”
